As a first-time home buyer, I was not certain if I needed to get an engineer to inspect the property I was in the process of buying, but decided to do so at the recommendation of my lawyer, who referred me to HomeProbe (Michael Nuzzolo). After a phone interview, I decided to go with Michael’s reasonably priced inspection service, and I can tell you that it is an investment that I do not regret in the least! Michael told me prior to the inspection, “By the time we finish going through this house, you will know it as though you had been living there for years…”…he wasn’t kidding! Being new to the common issues that come about from owning a property, I asked Michael about the functionality of every valve, pipe, and switch that we came across, and he answered all of my questions very thoroughly. By the time we had gone through the property, I knew of many of the positive elements of the property, as well as the priority issues that I would need to address after taking ownership. Michael was extremely patient throughout the process, and a few days later, he sent me a documented assessment of the property detailing everything we had gone over. I am very satisfied with the quality of service that Michael provided, and feel better prepared to handle repairs that may be necessary in the future because of the education he provided. I would strongly recommend Michael’s services to anyone who needs an inspection on a property that they are thinking of purchasing. The cost of the inspection is reasonable, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you are not buying a house that needs major repairs is priceless. Good Luck!
